Jordan Ryan

Jordan J. Cruz Ryan is Associate Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College. He is mixed Filipino and hails from the multicultural city of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ryan is the author of the commentary on Acts for The New Testament in Color as well as The Role of the Synagogue in the Aims of Jesus (Fortress, 2017) and From the Passion to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (T&T Clark, 2021). He spends most summers on archaeological excavations and is the head of Roman Period Research for the Tel Shimron excavation in Galilee.
