Michelle Lee-Barnewall

Michelle Lee-Barnewall’s interests lie in the application of biblical exegesis to spiritual formation and cultural issues. She is the award-winning author of Neither Complementarian nor Egalitarian and Surprised by the Parables. Her most recent book is A Longing to Belong: Reflections on Faith, Identity, and Race. She has served on the editorial board for the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Bulletin for Biblical Research and has been on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Biblical Research. When not writing or teaching, she loves to spend time with her three wonderful grandchildren.
