Letter from the Outgoing Editor
The SOLA Network Magazine has always been a project near and dear to my heart. So, it is fitting that my last act as editor is to publish the latest installment.
Prior to joining SOLA, I was primarily a stay-at-home mom, and I never thought I would go back to writing and especially editing. However I am so thankful to SOLA leaders who invited me to participate in creating a platform dedicated to Asian American leaders and readers. Through this website, I rediscovered my passion for the written word and met amazing people along the way.
So, for the last time, I want to showcase some of the best articles and interviews SOLA published in 2023. These contributions cover a spectrum of topics, including insightful commentary on current events, reflections on historical occurrences, and thoughts on navigating the Christian life. The diversity of voices—spanning across genders, generations, and ethnic backgrounds—reflects the richness of our shared experiences as Asian American Christians.
My sincere thanks extend to all who entrusted us with their thoughts and words. I am profoundly grateful for the unwavering support of our dedicated editorial board and volunteers. From pitching compelling stories to meticulously editing drafts, your commitment has been the backbone that sustained our platform.
And again, thank you to SOLA leadership, who supported me throughout the years.
