Articles From Around The Web

1. Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra and Ryan Robertson: Gen Z Wants to Be Involved in Missions

“The goal of every missionary should be establishing a church where there isn’t one or strengthening an existing church when necessary—and churches are made up of image-bearers gathered together in the flesh, not digitally.”

2. Tom Sugimura: Basic Homework from the Psalms

“The Psalms provide a language of lament, joy, hope, sorrow, and faith. They can shape our counseling conversations.”

3. Tim Challies: On Being a Heroic Man

“If you come to the end of your days and your wife says that you loved her well and that you led your little family with grace, you have the highest commendation you can receive on this side of the grave. If your children honor you as a faithful father, if they acknowledge that you blazed the way through the darkest of valleys, you have been as heroic as any man is called to be.”

Asian American Leadership Conference 2024: “Writing the Next Chapter.” April 23-24, 2024, Orange County, CA. Registration and more info can be found at aalc.network.

The vision of this conference is to equip Asian-American leaders with gospel centered, contextual resources that will empower men and women for local church ministry. Our conference strategy is to equip leaders, platform voices, and connect with one another for life-giving relationships.

The theme of our conference is “Writing the Next Chapter: Empowering Asian American Voices for Gospel Ministry”. The Asian American church today is at a unique inflection point with leaders in diverse stations across multiple generations. This conference will be an opportunity to learn from these voices for the sake of continued and future Gospel work together.
