Steve Chang

Living Hope Community Church

Steve is the founding and senior pastor of Living Hope Community Church. Steve is a graduate of UCLA (B.S. in Computer Engineering), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and Talbot School of Theology (D.Min.). He feels blessed to live with “the three most beautiful women in the world”, his wife Hannah and his two daughters, Christine and Janice. Steve serves as the Council Chairman of SOLA Network.

Aaron Chung

Exilic Church

Aaron is the founding pastor of Exilic Church in NYC. He is a graduate of Westminster Seminary California (M.Div) and Westminster Theological Seminary (D.Min). He has written on a variety of subjects from theology to sports for websites including Relevant Magazine and The Bleacher Report. He is married to Hanna who is the real church planter, and they have two daughters, Logan and Hayden.

David Larry Kim

Harvest

Pastor DL is the Lead Pastor of Harvest, an inter-generational, English-speaking congregation of house churches at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando. He has overseen Harvest through preaching, teaching, counseling and leadership since 2005. Prior to that, he served in youth and college ministries. He is happily married to Olivia and is the proud father of Emmanuelle ("Manny"), Elijah and Elyse. He is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary and the University of Virginia. He is passionate about communicating the truth of God’s Word and enjoys playing and watching sports. His first job was dressing up at Chuck E. Cheese and he was asked to be a pirate to promote of “The Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise in China.

Enoch Liao

Boston Chinese Evangelical Church

Enoch currently serves at Boston Chinese Evangelical Church (BCEC) as the Lead English Pastor overseeing English-speaking ministries at both the Chinatown and Newton campuses. Enoch is married to Karen and they have 3 sons at home and 1 daughter who has passed on. They have a dog named Colby.

Hanley Liu

FCBC Walnut

Hanley serves as the English Lead Pastor at First Chinese Baptist Church of Walnut. He is happily married to his wife Meryl and they have two children. Aside from family and ministry, his greatest passions are reading non-fiction, attempting to play sports, and cheering for the Chargers, Lakers, and Dodgers. He is a graduate of Biola University (B.A.), Talbot School of Theology (M.Div), and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min).

Harold Kim

Christ Central of Southern California

Harold is the senior and founding pastor of Christ Central of Southern California and serves on the Board for Christ Central Network (CCN). He received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Princeton Theological Seminary. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) in 2001 and is now a member of the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC). Harold is a happily married husband to SunHi, and devoted father to his two daughters, Taylor and Elizabeth. Harold serves as the President of SOLA Network.

Jason Tarn

Houston Chinese Church

Jason is the Lead English Pastor of Houston Chinese Church, a non-denominational Chinese heritage church in Houston, TX. He received his bachelors from UT Austin and completed an M.Div at Regent College. Jason grew up at Houston Chinese Church as a teenager and has been pastoring there since 2011. His passion is to bring healthy reform to the immigrant church that is rooted in sound doctrine and a missional vision. He is married to Theresa and has two daughters, Talia and Maisie.

Joey Chen

Sunset Church

Joey currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Sunset Church in San Francisco, California. Joey grew up in Michigan and came to know and follow Jesus in high school. He attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and finished his Doctor of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology. Joey feels a call to cities as they are a strategic place for Gospel ministry since it is where “all peoples of the earth” can be found. He is blessed to be married to Jeannette and they have two amazing daughters, Melia and Selah.

Kim Kira

Lighthouse Community Church

Kim is the primary preaching elder at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, California. His ministry is driven by a deep desire to encourage people with the transformative power of the Gospel, the Good News that offers not only entrance into heaven but powerful and practical hope for change in everyday life. Beyond ministry, Kim loves to spend time with his wife Jen and their four children, Caleb, Josiah, Karissa, and CJ.

Michael Lee

All Nations Community Church

Michael serves as the lead pastor of All Nations Community Church. He is a graduate from the University of Southern California and Talbot School of Theology. Michael has a passion to see collegians transformed by the power of the Gospel. Michael serves as the Executive Director of SOLA Network.

Owen Lee

Christ Central Presbyterian Church

Owen serves as the Senior Pastor of Christ Central Presbyterian Church in Centreville, VA. He received his BA in Rhetoric at U.C. Berkeley and his M.Div at Westminster Seminary, CA. Before his call to serve as the Senior Pastor of Christ Central in 2012, he served as the English Ministry Pastor of New Life Mission Church in Fullerton, CA from 2000 to 2002, and then as the church-planting pastor of New Life Mission Church in Burbank, CA from 2002 to 2011. He is married to Margaret, and they have 3 children together- Abby, Caleb, and Lizzy.

Daniel K. Eng

Western Seminary

Daniel is Assistant Professor of New Testament at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He has a D.Min. in Asian American Ministry (Talbot) and a Ph.D. in biblical studies (University of Cambridge). Daniel is an editorial board member at SOLA Network and the author/editor of several books, including Eschatological Approval: The Structure and Unifying Motif of James and Faithful Ministry Through Chinese Churches in America. He and his family serve with Portland Chinese Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.

Faith Chang

Grace Christian Church

Faith lives in Staten Island, NY with her husband and four kids. She serves at Grace Christian Church where her husband pastors. She has a Certificate in Christian Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary and is part of the team at Westminster Kids. She writes at Keeping Heart and is the author of a forthcoming book on Christian perfectionism with The Good Book Company (2024).

Kevin Yi

Church Everyday

Kevin is the youth and education pastor at Church Everyday in Los Angeles, CA and has been serving the middle school and high school students for over 15 years. He is a bi-vocational pastor and has been in the animation industry for over 10 years. He is the founder of truthmattersministries.com. He and his wife Tracy are celebrating eleven years of marriage together and have three children: Caden, Isabella, and Ian. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Talbot Theological Seminary.

Monica Kim

Counselor

Monica Kim, Ph.D., is a Christian counselor, has taught counseling courses as an associate faculty at CCEF and a lecturer at WTS, and has been a seminar speaker at numerous conferences including the CCEF National Conferences. She has worked in church ministry for more than 25 years and is currently a part of the pastoral staff at her local church. Monica has a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary, a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh with a focus on Attachment theory. She is married to an ordained Pastor, and they have three sons.

Soojin Park

TGC

Soojin (B.A. Cornell University; M.Div Reformed Theological Seminary) is the events manager for The Gospel Coalition. She previously served on staff at Christ Central Presbyterian Church in Centreville, Virginia, as director of youth ministry and adult education. Soojin is a co-host of the Glo Podcast at TGC.

Tim St. John

Lighthouse Community Church

Tim serves as the counseling pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, CA. He's a graduate of the Master's Seminary (M.Div, Th.M) and completed counseling certificate training through ACBC and CCEF. Tim's passion is to see the grace of gospel-centered counseling grow and thrive in local churches.

Tom Sugimura

New Life Church

Tom pastors New Life Church in Woodland Hills, mentors church planters in the Greenhouse Residency, and trains biblical counselors at The Master's University. He has written Grace, Race, and the Church about finding our stories in the gospel story and Hope for New Dads about raising four children in the wilds of Southern California with his wife, Amanda. One recent hobby has been recording his family's personal history in the Japanese American internment, the Vietnamese refugee crisis, and the Chinese immigrant church.

Joshua Lim

OMC Family Chapel (Conference Co-Director)

Josh serves as the Lead Pastor at OMC: Family Chapel in Los Angeles, CA. He is a graduate of UCLA, USC's Price School of Public Policy, and Talbot School of Theology. His passion in life is to proclaim Christ with all faithfulness, humility, and joy, and to see the people of God flourish in their God-given calling. He enjoys playing basketball and guitar, eating al pastor tacos, and spending quality time with his wife (Jennifer) and son (Caleb).

Ben Pun

Anchor Community Church

Ben is the lead pastor of Anchor Community Church in Walnut, CA. He is originally from the Chicago area but has lived in Houston, Boston, and Raleigh, NC. Ben is a graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Rachel, has three children: Haley, Austin, and Abigail, and enjoys following his hometown Chicago sports teams, especially the Bears.

Ben serves as an Associate Pastor at Living Hope Community Church in Brea, CA. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and Talbot School of Theology. He is passionate about connecting people to God and others through everyday life. He and his wife Irina enjoy ministering together and have two daughters. Their favorite getaway would include hanging out with family, anything in the ocean, or watching a movie.
